A cafeteria/sanctuary transformed for worship.
In partnership with FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru), Thrive City is trying to be visible in creative ways in and around Las Cruces and southern NM. Here are Tim & Sheila Steele (NM FL’s Ministry Reps and TCC members) hosting a Marriage & Family” resource booth at a local community outreach.
TCC’s softball team’s “ministry of engagement” on the diamonds have led to some great faith conversations with Las Cruces city league leadership, opponents, coaches and umpires.
We’ve had 6 Baptisms, this summer, and Lord willing this weekend, we will have 3 more. And we are following up with 7 others this week.
Our new outreach platform has allowed us to interact with over 20 individuals, where we are inviting them to Church, answer questions, pray for them, and show them we care, even before they step into the doors of Thrive City Church.
Pray for the fall ahead as we continue to invest in the Public Middle School where we have our services. We’ve been given the green light and wide open door to share, love and give to the school, and we want to be good stewards of this opportunity.
We were able to be around 20 Church planting families 2 weekends ago, up in Albuquerque for the SEND Network families staycation. It was encouraging and refreshing.

Events / Announcements / Trainings

We at DACCC are honored to host this school this year. I’ve been to many of these, and I'm convinced our churches will benefit greatly from this. The biblical principles taught here will encourage all churches and new plants. Although the emphasis is Western, the biblical principles are timeless. Also, we have a unique opportunity here, to provide REAL SIMPLE church growth support for our Hispanic churches & pastors. Translation will be provided.
Brothers, this school is needed for our churches. New Mexico needs this! I'm convinced that Western Church planting (when done right), will be the next big church growth movement in our state. It has already proven its worth. The breakout sessions are led by experienced & qualified people from Texas and from Dona Ana County Cowboy Church. You and your people will be given “tools” to take home and use. I urge you to come, send others, and let’s move from “just talking” to “DOING.”

CHURCH PLANTING in new mexico
Missions Mobilization
If we want to reach New Mexicans for Christ, we need to partner with Church Planters that God is using and bringing to our state. We have compiled a list of Church Planters that are currently in need of partners to come alongside in prayer, outreach, building endeavors & financial support. By partnering together, we can make a huge impact! Bring it before the church and pray how the Lord will lead you in supporting our Church Plants.
Contact our Mission Mobilization Team Leader, Matt Thackerson @ 505-604-9018 or email: mthackerson@bcnm.com to find out more on how to become a Church Plant Partner.

IMMIGRATION RECENT ISSUES
Churches have a long history of providing sanctuary to immigrants and others. However, the recent policy for enforcing immigration laws in sensitive locations such as in churches has changed. The Department of Justice in the State of New Mexico has provided a document to assist New Mexico's places of worship in responding to immigration issues.

You and your church don't necessarily need to begin a ministry or reinvent the wheel that is already at work sharing the gospel and meeting the needs of your local community. These ministries have already done the groundwork and even been given an open door at strategic places and have been accepted by the people they are ministering to. For the most part, these ministries are also in need of volunteers and financial support. Bless each other by partnering and serving your local community together!
At Your Service
My hope and prayer for these newsletters is to keep all of us updated on the Kingdom work that is being done in the SouthWest region of New Mexico. God is at work always and He has us serving together in this area for such a time as this. Let’s partner together to reach all of New Mexico with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and let’s see God’s mighty goodness all around us! Always remember that we are on the same team – God’s team!
Let me know how I or any of our BCNM staff can serve you and the wonderful church family you are a part of. It is our privilege and joy. God bless you!
Please email any testimonies, events, pictures & info of a particular outreach, mission trip or special event, and flyers of workshops, conferences, or trainings that others may benefit from and that you would like me to share in future newsletters to lolmos@bcnm.com
